“Summoner and Scribe,” tells the story of Benj, a melancholy young lad who gives up on his dream of being an author of children’s tragedies to take a good-paying but unsatisfy job as a scribe for a Master Occultist…who specializes in the summoning of demons. 

Here we see Benj studying hard for this new job, learning the five forbidden languages:

• Ancient Aasthmath: only spoken in creepy whispers to summon the dead

• Grudal: used to command demons, sounds like barking dogs

• Maldek: the lusty language of fire, hexes, and debauchery

• Draconian Blood Letters: so bloody

• Foulest Visma: the language of outer-world Warlocks and nerds
