On the Trail Series painting 7/9

According to the Golden Map Society’s Royal Historians, Myrl Bel of the famed first families had no recollection of her journey from Southern Oregon in 1850 to the enigmatic region known as the Southwestern Bellows, and no recollection of the Zeta Reticulans peoples….if you could call them people. Despite not recalling her extraterrestrial abduction, Myrl and her fellow pioneers were plagued by turbulent flying dreams each night for the rest of their lives.

However, Myrl’s following encounter with the Great Mantid is well documented, and today, nearly 170 years after the events that took place during that time, the Golden Map of the Southwestern Bellows, gifted to Myrl by the benevolent Insectoid sits upon display in the King’s court.

The Golden Map is only partially made of gold, but it is, expertly etched, embossed with ultraterrestial 4-dimensional lettering, and smells gross like a huge bug.
